Pastor Dan Gooney was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He moved to Pompano Beach, Florida as a teen and began attending Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale in 1997 shortly after meeting his wife, Tammy. After moving to New Smyrna Beach in 2000, he attended Crossroads Calvary Chapel in Ormond Beach, Florida. While there, Dan was ordained as a minister in 2006 and served on staff as the Associate Pastor. In his past, Dan spent years chasing foolishness through alcohol and drugs. Fifteen years after God took those desires away, God has called Dan to teach His truth—verse by verse in New Smyrna Beach. “When you trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can, without any doubt, tell the world you are saved.
